Reprocessing an Asset

If an asset did not process correctly — for example, if the proxy file was not generated as expected — you can reprocess it to recreate the missing related assets. This is also useful if you want to intentionally regenerate auto-created files.

Step 1 — Delete Existing Related Assets (if needed)

If you have an existing related asset that you want to replace, delete it first:

1. Open the asset in the admin application.
2. Select the Related Assets tab in the right-hand properties panel.
3. Click the trash icon next to the related asset you want to remove.

Step 2 — Reprocess the Asset

1. Open the asset in the admin application.
2. Click the action menu in the top right.
3. Select Reprocess Asset.

The asset will change to Registering status while the related assets are recreated. Once complete, the status returns to Available and the related assets will be present.
